Notice: Security Flaw in Microsoft Internet Explorer Versions 6 - 11
A major security flaw has been found in Microsoft’s Internet Explorer that can allow hackers to hijack online sessions after the PC has been infected with malware. Microsoft indicated the vulnerability exists in Internet Explorer versions 6 - 11.
Microsoft provided a security update on May 1, 2014. Users with automatic updates enabled do not need to take any action, since the download was installed automatically. If the automatic feature is not enabled, users must manually download the security update by activating "Windows Update." It is important to ensure that the update for Internet Explorer is downloaded and installed as soon as possible.
